Year of enterprise foundation: NPP “EPOS” was founded in April 1992 on the territory of the Scientific Administration of Semipalatinsk testing ground as a subdivision with 40 employees in the form of a scientific and research subdivision and a shop for validation through elaboration of plasma technologies and production of items with wear-resistant coatings. Next stage was participation in project development and launching of its own subdivisions, sites and shops in other cities (including this enterprise in Novosibirsk), development of unique electro-thermal equipment (see Section Products).

Products – unique electro-thermal equipment (plasma, plasma-arc, plasma-vacuum equipment; jet plasmatrons, plasma ore-smelting furnaces, projects of shops and equipment integrated with plasma ore-smelting furnaces; electric arc furnaces and units; induction equipment and furnaces, power supply units for them; electro-slag casting furnaces; technologies and equipment for production of micro- and nano-materials and items made of them (ceramics, hard alloys), units for electric heating in different atmospheres and vacuum), special purposes units produced according to special orders for nuclear and defense industry, new means for control and diagnostics in oil industry, equipment for general industrial purpose.
The enterprise was awarded with the National prize “Gold Mercurius” five times in the period from 2008 to 2012. The company was awarded with the Diploma “The best small business enterprise in the sphere of innovation activities” in 2011 and in 2012 for some of the abovementioned innovation projects.
Today, we can also add that the Project of engineering design of a large metallurgic plant with a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous casting with use of modern modification systems, latest achievements of robotics technology and industrial process control systems was made and transferred to the customer by our enterprise in 2012. The engineering design of the project of electro-slag re-melting shop with capacity of more than 500 tons of large castings with mass up to 10 tons per year was made in 2012. In 2012 – 2013, a site for electro-slag re-melting was developed with delivery of our own innovative equipment for an ore mining and smelting enterprise for producing high-quality castings of special steels with help of modern modification systems of international standard.
In 2011, 3 projects were made and 2 productions were launched for manufacturing import-substituting high-quality electro-slag casting with help of electro-slag units of new generation made by our company. Mass of steel castings is up to 1 ton, the sites are outfitted with equipment for work with powder materials, alloys and conditioning agents. Our enterprise made a project of an innovation production site for electro-slag re-melting for radioactive wastes treatment for the enterprise located in the town of Tomsk-7 and delivered our electro-slag unit there, developed engineering design of the project of metallurgic shop of defense industry, prepared design specification for the project of a new shop for a new site of the plant “TRUD” OJSC with three units of our design.
Our company made projects and develops complete designs with equipment for mini-mills in the sphere of plasma ore-smelting processes (Siberian Mining Company, Novokuznetsk), designed a site with a unit for secondary metallurgy (AKOS-5M) with using of new technologies and nano-powders, electro-slag re-melting and casting sites (Barnaul, Kemerovo), launched induction melting and casting furnaces (Tomsk, Magnitogorsk, Russia; Tashkent, Uzbekistan; Dzhambul, Kazakhstan). Our company makes designs of furnaces, including all systems, algorithms and automatic control systems, SCADA, MICS, produces them, makes up a full set, assembles, delivers them ready-to-operate and provides safter-sale support.
In 2011 – 2012, our enterprise developed and created a closed-loop manufacturing chain of units for making high-quality powders (including those of nano-size) which permitted reducing prime cost of products 30 – 100 times, from 10 – 30 thousand rubles per a kilogram to 500 – 1000 rubles (for nano-powders), the results and equipment were demonstrated to Vice-governor and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region at an experimental industrial site).
Being a main works contractor, our company develops a concept of modern metallurgic enterprises, develops projects, complete equipping and launching of a site, a shop, a plant within one or several metallurgic units. At the stage following equipment launching our company contributes to efficient use of equipment and assists in implementation and validation through elaboration of new own technologies.
Our company implemented large projects connected with usage of plasma technologies; in particular, at the former Semipalatinsk nuclear testing ground we participated in building, launching and successful operating of plasma systems with capacity of 0.5 MW, 10 MW, 40 MW, unique jet line plasmatrons for the operating pressure of up to 6.0 M Pa, with capacity of up to 14 MW having efficiency coefficient of up to 98% (patented), metallurgic plasmatrons and plasma systems for different purposes in which testing of nuclear rocket engines elements, TOKAMAKs and other dual-purpose systems was carried out. At present, within international programs (in which Russia, the USA, Japan and other countries participate) materials investigations are performed for high-temperature molten materials (more than 2800°C) for nuclear industry and development of thermo-nuclear electric power industry (developments are patented by our company).
Our enterprise works over powerful vacuum plasmatrons and plasma systems for melting of high-melting-point metals and non-conducting materials, obtaining of nano-powders with capacity of up to 3 or more MW. We develop and produce induction, electro-slag, electric arc units and furnaces, units for secondary metallurgy and secondary processing of alloys, heating installations for different purposes – 4 – 6 items of equipment per year, each of them based on our own original solutions and being patented.
In 2011, according to the technical order of the customer, unique modern induction vacuum melting furnace with cold crucible (ISV Kht) for melting of high-melting-point materials in vacuum was developed, designed, produced, industrially tested and delivered to the customer. The furnace is intended for usage for synthesis of new alloys with special properties, for investigations and other works. It can be used for production of turbine blades, heatproof elements of rockets, production of automobile and aircraft equipment, for nuclear industry, producing special alloys with given properties and of special purity. While using this furnace, polluting of the alloy with furnace materials is excluded, high-quality chemical composition of the alloy is provided with temperature of melting of up to 3000°C.
In 2011, the project of a metallurgic shop for complex precision casting and making exacting products with extra-high requirements to quality of products was made. Building of the shop is estimated for 1.5 billion rubles.
In 2010, a site was designed and equipment was produced and delivered for secondary metallurgy within a modernized complex consisting of an arc steel melting furnace (5 tons) and a Unit for Complex Steel Processing (AKOS-5) with application of nano-powders, a unique system of transporting metal and input of nano-materials; a site for placing and launching of the unit is prepared.
A shop and equipment for ferroalloy plasma shaft furnaces with capacity of 4500 tons per year are put into operation. Experimental industrial furnace unit of shaft type with plasma heaters for production of ferroalloys from ore material is based on the original patented (5 patents) tested in practice developments of powerful plasma units having unique technological capabilities which cannot be achieved by other means.
Our company provides technological support – on the basis of agreements – of several large metallurgic enterprises and shops with induction furnaces and units, including Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Company, metallurgic enterprises of Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Ekibastuz, etc.) and of Uzbekistan. Several induction furnaces and heaters for different purposes with capacity of 30 – 800 kW, new types of electro-slag and ferroalloy furnaces (three ferroalloy furnaces are put into operation) are developed and put into operation; power supply units (up to 800 kW) are developed and produced, as well as automatic control systems, equipment for vacuum-plasma and arc spraying, modern algorithms of operation of large electro-metallurgic units, power supply units for electric arc plasmatrons for gas heating, electro-slag re-melting furnaces and induction heating facilities; unique equipment for thermo-physical measurements, special measurement of coordinates with using of isotopes in oil industry, for hydraulic testing of fuel assemblies for nuclear power plants are created (complete tests of cooling water systems within the facility are carried out), as well as furnaces for sintering fuel pellets for nuclear power plants. The company produces its own complete equipment complex.
Sphere of products application – metallurgy, electro-thermie, machinery building, nuclear power industry. The customers for our products include state scientific centers of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries, state and private, industrial and scientific structures, largest Russian and foreign companies, educational establishments, etc. We obtained more than 28 invention certificates and patents and favorable decisions for our developments; more than 17 papers have been published for this year on the topic of our works, a half of the articles are published in the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles journals; 4 people with scientific degrees, four post-graduates and state prize laureates work at our enterprise.
In 2010 – 2011, several projects of electro-slag re-melting shops, shops for casting of high-quality alloys with help of complex steel processing unit (AKOS) were developed and delivered to the customers. Several feasibility studies of innovation projects for production of ferroalloys and nano-materials with usage of basic poor ores of Russian deposits were developed by the company.
Position on the goods and services market:
We range our company as a developer of conceptually new electro-thermal equipment and systems.
We produce advanced electro-thermal equipment, as a rule, of our own design, and do not offer projects older than 3 years within large sites – including developments of Russian producers of new equipment. Our company carries out its own research and scientific work in seven spheres: plasma furnaces and equipment, vacuum plasma equipment, ore-smelting technologies and recycling of industrial wastes, induction furnaces, power supply units for electro-thermal equipment, electro-slag furnaces, technology of nano-powders production, including units for complex steel processing with usage of nano-powders. We have a science and technology base with 19 electro-technological units for the abovementioned directions (they do not have any analogues in Russia and in the CIS) where we work together with Novosibirsk State Technical University, we finance the abovementioned directions of work at the cost of profit from production activity. We have awards at prestigious exhibitions of innovation projects in Geneva (2007, gold medal), Seoul (2006), Paris (2011), Strasbourg (2010), Casablanca (2011, silver medal), Morocco (2011, silver medal), numerous high-class medals and diplomas of Russian exhibitions (including Gold Medal of Siberian Fair in 2007, 2008, 2009; Gold Medal of Kuzbass Fair of 2009), the company was nominated as “the best small business industrial enterprise of 2008”. The company is a laureate of III award of national award “Gold Mercurius” for 2009. - In 2012, quality control system was introduced and certified at the enterprise according to the standard ISO 9001-2008.
- In 2012, the enterprise entered Self-regulatory Organization of Designer Engineers with high quality of rendered services in the sphere of project making of metallurgic enterprises, design and production of core technological equipment.
- Individual approach to recruiting and specialists education by means of a tender, special skills improvement systems, education projects, high requirements to the staff. We stimulate education of specialists in the University (maintaining programs), in post-graduate courses (four post-graduates), have a program for additional professional training of students.
- Support and target preparation of specialists beginning from the 2 – 3 years of study till their graduation, simultaneous practical training. The company supports (including material support) five students.
- Additional education during the whole time of employment, in different forms.
Control of market and offer of fundamental innovations
We carry out our own science and research works and continuous investigation of market in six directions: plasma furnaces and equipment, vacuum plasma equipment, vacuum induction equipment, ore-smelting technologies and recycling of industrial wastes, induction furnaces, power supply units for electro-thermal equipment, electro-slag furnaces, nano-materials and technologies for production of cheap nano-powders for general industrial purposes, including units for complex steel processing AKOS, induction vacuum furnaces with cold crucible.
Principal innovations:
- Vacuum induction electric furnace with cold crucible for melting of high purity metals and chemically active metals and alloys on their basis of ISB series (induction, for steel and alloys, vacuum).
- Unit for Complex Steel Processing AKOS 5 with using of nano-powders, a unique system of input of powders and system of mixing of alloy and control over temperature.
- Range of furnaces for electro-slag casting of special purpose steels with nano-modifying, from 100 to 1000 kilograms of molten metal in a bucket.
- A range of energy saving ore-smelting shaft plasma furnaces of our own design (patents for equipment and technology) for metallurgic plants with unit capacity from dozens of kilowatts to 32.0 MW with technical and commercial indices improved 1.5 – 2 times for manganese iron and for 20 – 40% for silicious iron, aluminum ferrosilicon and titanium iron.
- Induction plasma unit of our own design for production of high-quality alloys and carrying out metallurgic operations with hot slag.
- Range of power supply units of new generation for induction and plasma furnaces with efficiency coefficient of up to 98 % and high-quality protection of electric power lines against interferences which do not need compensating devices.
Application of management and production innovations:
Our enterprise carries out research and investigation works at the cost of self financing, at least in eight directions using its own research equipment (plasma direction, plasma-vacuum, induction, vacuum induction, electro-slag re-melting furnaces, power supply units, new algorithms), the enterprise develops its theoretical investigations in two directions (gas dynamics of jets filled with powder materials, theory of control and algorithms of control over multi-phase systems concerning electro-thermal equipment). Together with development of new powerful equipment, we create models for the same purpose, with the help of which we develop core technological solutions and know-how. It provides quick implementation and minimization of risks for fundamentally new technological units, a scientific reserve and a gap for core decisions from our competitors is 2 – 4 years. We obtain 3 – 5 patents or favorable decisions per year; we implement at least one own fundamentally new development per year on their basis.
Three new employees were recruited in spite of continuing consequences of the crisis in industry, machinery building and metallurgy. By means of reducing internal costs and increasing volumes of performed works and rendered services, we have the opportunity to progress in our new developments being ahead of our competitors and maintaining a high level of our developments.
We combine industrial and scientific brainpower for cooperative work over projects for mutual education.
There is a great reserve of technologies in the sphere of metallurgy, nano-materials prepared and suitable for efficient industrial application. In this connection, we arrange tenders for implementation of large-scale projects in the abovementioned spheres, including tenders from large industrial enterprises for development on the basis of our technologies and equipment with value of 120 million to 1500 million rubles.
Our enterprise draws up expert reports on the condition and development of new projects of industrial, principally metallurgic, enterprises, for example the project of Krasnoyarsk ferroalloy plant, and a number of casting enterprises.

He is the author of more than 150 scientific works, has more than 30 patents of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, Medals of International Fairs held in Korea, France, Switzerland, Morocco, Austria, etc., Medals of Russian Fairs held in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Novokuznetsk and Moscow.

Four chief specialists are post-graduates, three of them work in technical specialization and one – in innovation directions.
Professional and corporate achievements of the enterprise:
1. In 1986 – 2001, at the former Semipalantinsk nuclear testing ground we participated in launching of powerful plasma complexes of up to 40 MW with our plasmatrons, whose characteristics are not surpassed. There are 10 patents and inventor’s certificates.
2. Creation of scientific and production enterprise in Kurchatov, the Semipalatinsk Region, with 40 employees for manufacturing of goods for industrial purposes and consumer goods on plasma vacuum equipment of our own design.
3. In 2001 – 2003, creation of a unique plasma slag complex in National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan for simulation of emergency situations at nuclear power plants, 4 patents. Efforts to remake our equipment in the USA and Japan (company “Marubeni”) were not successful. Only the first stage of the three stages of our unit could be remade in Kurchatov Institute.
3. In 2005 – 2006, a hydraulic test rig was made for Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant for testing of fuel assemblies for Nuclear power stations; testing is complete in the full assembly of cooling water system in the flow of water. Excellent comments of Hydrodynamics Institute.
4. In 2008 – 2010, a concept of a shop for electro-slag re-melting was developed, fundamentally new equipment was created for it (which is patented or which is being patented). The project is being implemented. It is the first large project of electro-slag re-melting shop after 1991 in the former Soviet Union territory.
5. In 2006 – 2008, a project of a shop was developed for EVRAZ-holding; in June 2008, a shop was created within the first stage of a plasma furnace, of the full set of equipment of the shop of shaft plasma ore-smelting furnaces for silicon manganese first in Russia which can fully satisfy requirements of Kuzbass in these products. On March 12, 2009, the shop was shown to the Prime Minister of Russia V.V.Putin as one of main achievements of Kuzbass.
6.In 2009 – 2010, methods were developed, equipment was created, samples of complex pellets were prepared, complex testing of iron-carbon pellets ÁÆÓÊ45 were performed for validation through elaboration of technology of their application in plasma shaft ore-smelting furnace for achieving of unique technical and commercial results of plasma ore-thermal technologies. A series of experiments for physical-chemical, gas-dynamic and other properties of a pellet was carried out in plasma ore-smelting furnace ÐØÏÏ 0.1 with capacity of 100 kW at temperatures more than 1650 – 1750 °C. All results of tests are carefully studied; precise requirements and detailed technical requirement for a pellet for shaft plasma ore-smelting furnace ÐØÏÏ were stated.
7. In 2009 – 2010, next series of scientific and research work were conducted for induction plasma melting unit (capacity of the unit is 50 kW, weight of loaded steel is 30 kg). Tests for melting metal from scrap were conducted with carrying out metallurgic processes with help of hot active slag, by means of a plasma facility built-in immediately in the induction furnace. The unit is a development of induction melting electric furnaces and has some additional opportunities and significant technical and economical advantages in comparison with traditional metallurgic units for melting steels of high-quality, as it combines two complementary types of heating.
8.Within the period from 20 August, 2009 to the beginning of 2010, a ferroalloy shaft furnace ÐØÏÏ 0.25 was put into operation in Novosibirsk. The 4th ore-smelting furnace of “NPP EPOS” CJSC was built in its own laboratory complex. The enterprise developed, built and put into operation a furnace of the 4th generation for validation through elaboration of technology of direct recovery applicable for different ores and materials. Numerous experiments were made for manganese ores of Selezenskoye deposit of the Kemerovo Region. High-quality silicon manganese was obtained with content of phosphorus less than 0.01%. A new process of direct recovery was matured, EPOS-process, the declared advantages are proved.
9. On 6 – 8 October 2009, “EPOS-process” was introduced in Russia for the first time in Novokuznetsk in Siberian Industrial Forum at “III All-Russian research-to-practice conference with international participation” “Prospects for the Development of Technologies of Secondary Resources Processing in Kuzbass. Ecological, Economical and Social Aspects”. Breakthrough achievements for output of products and specific energy consumption were recognized during the discussion.
10. In December 2009 – March 2010, the enterprise participated in conferences in Novosibirsk (INTERRA, EEE-2009, Days of Science, NTI-2009, etc.)
11. In September 2010, two-day VII Forum of Inter-Regional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk with participation of the presidents of the two states – Nursultan Nazarbaev and Dmitry Medvedev. On the first day of the event, the business-forum “Stable development and high technologies” was held. NPP “EPOS” together with the Center of Electro-technologies of Novosibirsk State Technical University took an active part in the business-forum introducing its technological developments to the presidents; a diploma was granted to the enterprise according to the results of the forum.
12. In 2010, 4 patents were obtained for Way of obtaining of metals and alloys by means of reduction smelting and equipment for its implementation.
13. In 2010, a unique unit for complex steel processing with using of nano-powders AKOS 5 was first developed, created and delivered to the customer for a machinery building enterprise of Kuzbass, with unique systems of optimal input and recovery by molten nano-powders in the mode of automatic control over parameterswith help of which high-quality steels of different grades can be made with characteristics corresponding to the world analogues, and new steels with improved properties which permit solving the problem of import substitution. Preparatory works are being conducted. Launching is planned in the 2nd quarter of 2011.
14. In March 2011, a presentation of our unique industrial equipment and modern developments was held for the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region – Vasily Yurchenko. The Governor highly appreciated the achievements and offered several ways of further cooperation with enterprises of the region.
15. In November 2011, the Enterprise participated in Exhibition of Technological Innovations in Morocco. New technological equipment for metallurgic operations was introduced. According to the results of the exhibition, the enterprise was awarded with Big Gold Medal and a Diploma.
16. In December 2011, a unique vacuum induction furnace with cold crucible was first developed, created and delivered to the customer. The furnace can be used for making turbines blades, heat-resistant elements of rockets, for producing automobile and aircraft equipment, for nuclear industry, for making special alloys with given properties and of special purity. The equipment is of great current interest for machinery building plants for creating, inter alia, modern military equipment.
16. In 2011, more than 4 units of equipment for electro-slag casting with modification of alloy were developed and delivered to the customers, one unit for electro-slag decontamination of radioactively polluted molten material which permits reducing pollution of metal with radionuclides to the sanitary norms.
17. In 2011, a multi-operator plasma unit was created and put into operation; it is intended for application of coatings which provides strength of adhesion of coatings with the base exceeding the strength of the basis. The enterprise began works for validation through elaboration of additional sources of implanters for forming of 3-D structure of layers in the coating. NEVZ OJSC was informed on the results of the work and conducted its own independent testing of coatings which documentarily confirmed the stated properties of coatings.
18. The Project of engineering design of a large metallurgic plant with a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous casting with using of modern modification systems, latest achievements of robotics technology and systems of control over technological processes was made and transferred to the customer.
19. The project of engineering design of a shop for electro-slag re-melting with capacity of more than 500 tons per year of large castings with weight of up to 10 tons was made.
International economic cooperation:
The enterprise cooperates with Kazakhstanin the sphere of creating equipment for investigations in the field of nuclear energy industry, of problems of recycling of radioactive materials. We participate in the development of the concept of Technopark in Kurchatov.
The company cooperates with Uzbekistan in the sphere of development of ore-smelting technologies, import substitution in special branches. We make projects of shops in which our equipment is used.
We cooperate with Armenia in the sphere of new technologies in ore-thermie and obtaining of high-melting-point materials.
Our company cooperates with Italian university in the city of Padua and participates in the conferences on electro-thermal topics.
We are developing the project of a metallurgic site in Tajikistan for production of ferroalloys with the help of our modern ore-thermal equipment.
On 6 – 7 September 2010, a two-day Forum of Inter-regional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia was held with participation of the presidents of the two countries – Nursultan Nazarbaev and Dmitry Medvedev. On the first day of the event, the business-forum “Stable development and high technologies” was held. NPP “EPOS” together with the Center of electro-technologies of Novosibirsk State Technical University took an active part in the business-forum, a diploma was granted to the enterprise according to the results of the forum.
Participation in social and charity programs:
A program of assistance for higher educational institutions, in particular for State Educational Establishment of Higher Professional Education “Novosibirsk State Technical University” – in the form of finance support of chairs and scientific subdivisions development, delivery of equipment and materials, advance training of engineers; amount of sponsor assistance for 2006 – 2011 is 7 300 000 rubles.

Regular work for promotion of the brand and goods on the market in the form of participation in exhibitions, forums, interregional meetings, work on the web-site (www.epos-nsk.ru), statements of free services rendering for educational establishments, natural persons and charity organizations, publishing in mass-media, etc. Three spots on TV on new achievements of the enterprise were made in Novosibirsk in 2010, one spot in 2010 in Kuzbass, three publications were published in regional newspapers, a TV spot on ore-thermie was made.
Publication was made in the portal of NEWSib in June of 2011. Development of Novosibirsk enterprise can save Russia from importing of raw materials for metallurgy.

· 2006 – Diploma and Silver Medal of 3rd International Inventions Fair “SIIF-2006” (Seoul, Korea) for the invention “Vacuum Plasma Electric Technology for Treatment of Powder Materials” (It was improved together with Novosibirsk State Technical University for cooperative development of the technology and new spheres of applications by NPP EPOS CJSC for conducting cooperative works for obtaining new materials and validation through elaboration of vacuum plasma technology).
· 2007 – Diploma and Gold Medal of International Inventions Fair “SALON INTERNATIONAL DES INVENTIONS”, Geneve-2007 for the invention “Vacuum Plasma Electric Technology for Treatment of Powder Materials” (Developed together with Novosibirsk State Technical University. It was improved for cooperative development of technology by NPP EPOS CJSC for conducting of cooperative works for obtaining new materials and validation through elaboration of vacuum plasma technology).
· 2007 – Diploma and Big Gold Medal for development and implementation of multi-arc plasma slag unit for simulation of emergency situations of melting of a nuclear reactor core; Diploma and Silver Medal for development of induction crucible electric furnace for melting copper and stainless steel (“Siberian Fair”, Novosibirsk, exhibition “Metals of Siberia. Metallurgy. Metals Processing. Welding”).
· 2007 – Participation in the exhibition “Innovation Potential of Russian-Kazakhstan Cooperation in the Sphere of High Technologies”. The following was introduced at the fair: innovative developments, technologies and companies having mutual interest of partners from the two countries and high scientific and technological potential in the following priority directions: nanotechnologies; biotechnologies and medicine; production and processing of raw hydrocarbons; nuclear technologies; information technologies; new materials and technologies for their production; resources and energy saving. NPP EPOS introduced its innovation project “Plasma thermal furnace and technological complex for recycling of industrial wastes, melting of metals and alloys” at the exhibition.
· 2007 – Participation in the 6th specialized interregional conference-exhibition “Metallurgy. Machinery Building-2007” Independent expert committee highly appreciated the activity of NPP EPOS CJSC; the company was granted with diplomas of the first degree: for development and implementation of high technologies in the sphere of electro-metallurgy and for development and implementation of mobile multi-purpose induction equipment.
· 2008 – Big gold and silver medals of Siberian Fair, Industrial Fair-Exhibition in Yekaterinburg, prize in the competition “Gold Mercurius” “The best small business enterprise in the sphere of industry”.

· 2010 - The article “Plasma shaft ore-thermal furnace of new generation” was published in the journal “Electric Metallurgy”, January, 2010.
· 2010 - Induction unit was delivered to the customer and put into operation, it is intended for conducting of special investigations with using of high-melting-point materials. The unit is completely autonomous: it is set up with a power supply unit of NPP EPOS CJSC own design; it has autonomous system for cooling of the inductor of closed-loop type; power supply – 200 V, frequency – 50 Hz; several points of temperature control.
· 2010 - The company was awarded with the diploma of scientific conference “Days of Students’ Science NSTU-2009” where latest achievements and developments of the organization were introduced.
· 2010 - 4 patents for plasma technologies and metallurgic equipment were obtained.
· 2010 - Unit for Complex Steel Processing (AKOS) was created with capacity of 5 tons with using of nano-modificators for obtaining modern grades of steels with unique properties.
· 2010 - December 2010, Silver Medal of European Salon of Inventions” “Competition Lepin” (Strasbourg, France) for ore-thermal technology for obtaining metals and recycling of industrial wastes.
· 2011 – In March 2011, a presentation of our unique complex of industrial equipment “Innovation site of multi-product experimental industrial manufacturing of nano-objects and nano-materials for general industrial application” and contemporary developments was held for the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vasily Yurchenko. The Governor highly appreciated the achievements of the company and offered several ways of further cooperation with enterprises of the region.
