Multiarc universal plasma slag installation
By the order of the Nuclear centre of Republic of Kazakhstans "EPOS" has developed and has started unique installation - a complex with a control system for imitation of failures on the atomic power station.
The complex is intended for heating and maintenance in the fused condition at the given temperature of refractory metals, oxide containing and oxidematerials by a method of the combined electroplasma and electroarc heating.
The combination in one device of three-phase electroarc heating and plasma heating by a direct current is realized.
The working part of an independent coaxial heater being both an electrode and plasma unit simultaneously, consists of the external and internal electrodes relocatable from each other.
Between external and internal electrodes in a magnetic field and in a stream plasma of forming gas burns under melt a plasma arch.
The spent (not cooled) part of an internal and external electrode has various forms, on decided problems. The not spent, cooled part is executed as the cylinder cooled by water.
Specially for management of a complex the unique algorithm and the circuit of management for the task of necessary allocation of energy on perimeter and volume of the melting zone, completely simulating residual allocation of energy from sharing nuclear fuel is developed.
On the basis of the specified complex the unique melting system for any (even not electrowire) materials without restriction of capacity and temperature may be executed.
